Effective representation must be cost-effective, too. Litigation is expensive, emotionally draining, and time consuming. And in the end, a stranger in a black robe determines the outcome. Experience shows us that our judges are smart and sagacious, but like all humans have their own filters for internalizing what they see and hear. That's why we diligently work toward resolution through negotiation and mediation before we recommend litigation.
I have been an attorney in Colorado since 1997. Before becoming a lawyer, I owned and operated a boutique advertising agency, developing marketing plans and advertising strategies for international, national, regional and local businesses. My business experience, expertise and seasoned common sense gives me powerful tools to create sound legal strategies and innovative tactics in negotiation, mediation and litigation.
I grew up in Tulsa, went to Washington and Lee University, the University of Colorado and the University of Denver, and earned a B.S. in Marketing, an M.B.A. in Finance, and, of course, a J.D.
